Nurses, friends, and other law enforcement officers cheered for Officer Tyler Franks as he was discharged from Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Fayetteville. Officer Franks was shot while on duty in Prairie Grove and spent more than a week in the hospital before coming to Encompass Health for rehabilitation. His recovery has taken nearly a month. Through tears, Officer Franks says he’s so thankful for the community support he’s received over the last few weeks, especially for those who helped take care of his family while he was in the hospital.
