Chief Executive Officer
Meagan was named CEO of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson in October 2023. Prior to joining Encompass Health, she served as assistant vice president for rehabilitation services at a large acute care hospital and has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership, operations and clinical experience. Meagan earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication sciences and disorders from Clarion University and her master of healthcare administration from the University of Scranton.
Medical Director
Dr. Tate serves as medical director at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson.
Dr. Tate serves as medical director at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson. Dr. Tate specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation and is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medical and Rehabilitation. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology/pre-medicine from the Xavier University in New Orleans followed by LSU Medical School in New Orleans. She completed Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at UTSW in Dallas.
Dr. Tate is an independent private practice physician.
Human Resources Director
Ieesha Cannida has served as the director of human resources at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital Richardson since October 2015. She has nine years of human resources managerial experience. Ieesha received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in speech communication with a minor in journalism from the University of Nevada Reno, where she was inducted in the 2015 Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. Ieesha is originally from Southern California and has always had a passion for customer service.
Director of Pharmacy
Philip joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson as a pharmacist in 2015 and was promoted to director of pharmacy in 2024. In addition to his degree in pharmacy, Philip holds a Board Certification in nuclear pharmacy as well as a master's degree in health physics. Prior to joining Encompass Health, Philip gained experience in a wide variety of settings including nuclear medicine, retail, home infusions and long-term care. He has a passion for working directly with the interdisciplinary team to provide the highest quality of care to our patients.
Chief Nursing Officer
Toni joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson in 2021 and was recently promoted to the chief nursing officer role in 2023. Toni has served in various healthcare settings throughout her 15-year medical career. She has worked in the acute care settings, skilled nursing facilities and outpatient rehabilitation. Prior to becoming a nurse, she was an athletic trainer for collegiate and scholastic sports teams. She earned her master's degree in nursing from the University of Hawaii and her master's degree in kinesiology from the University of Virginia.
Senior Patient Assessment Standards Coordinator
Rachel has 18 years of experience in rehabilitation, including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and outpatient speech-language pathology. She earned her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas and has held her UDS PPS Certification since 2017. Currently, she also acts as Encompass Health Southwest Region Patient Assessment Standards Coordinator (PASC) Representative as well as a preceptor to new PASCs in the region.
Director of Quality & Risk
Tammy joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson in 2023. Tammy is a registered nurse with a background in the emergency department, yet has served the majority of her 19-year long career in the healthcare quality and risk management space throughout various healthcare settings. Prior to joining the Encompass Health Richardson team, she traveled nationwide preparing hospitals for regulatory and accreditation surveys such as The Joint Commission and CMS according to their standards and guidelines. She earned her master's degree in nursing and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Chamberlain University.
Director of Therapy Operations
Rebecca Lanman, MPT joined the Encompass Health Richardson team as director of therapy operations in 2019. Prior to her role with Encompass Health Richardson, Rebecca served as director of therapy operations at an inpatient facility in Mesquite, Texas for 6 years. She has 20 years of experience as a physical therapist in the acute and rehabilitation settings. She earned her master’s degree in physical therapy from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.
Director of Case Management
Keianna has served as director of case management at Encompass Health Richardson for three years. She has more than 18 years of social work experience. An Iowa native, she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wartburg College and obtained a master’s degree in social work from the University of Northern Iowa. Keianna is also a Certified Case Manager.
Controller
Bree LeGrand joined Encompass Health Richardson in 2016 as controller. She has more than 10 years of healthcare experience in both acute care and long term acute care. In 2005, she received her Master’s of Business Administration at Texas A&M University at Texarkana, Texas. Since 2017, she has been a member of the Company’s Inclusion & Diversity Council. Bree and her team are responsible for assuring the hospital has equipment and supplies to treat the patients in a high quality, yet cost effective manner.
Facilities Management Director
Jeremy has served in his role as facilities management director at Encompass Health Richardson since January 2021. He is responsible for the plant operations management including all aspects of environment of care compliance planning, facility equipment maintenance/certification, building repairs, maintenance and environmental services. He is also responsible for scheduled drills, implemented emergency management plans and coordinated assistance and allocations for emergency preparedness with the North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council. He is the designated safety/security officer charged with regulatory compliance with TJC, TDH, OSHA and FEMA. Jeremy has worked in the facility management and life safety field since 1999 with vast knowledge of building automation, fire and life safety and other facility management systems.
