Our Birmingham Home Office includes professionals who work in accounting and finance, operations, business development, billing, human resources, information technology and legal services.  This office of approximately 500+ employees supports our team across the country who deliver a better way to care every day.

Each new employee begins their career with a comprehensive orientation. During orientation, you will get to know more about Encompass Health, understand how your role supports our Company purpose, meet new co-workers and learn more about the training and benefits available to you as an employee.

Hospital tour

While your day-to-day role may be in our Home Office, we understand how important it is for every employee to experience the work we do to help patients in our community. We make arrangements for each new employee to tour of one of our hospitals. This allows them to see how their role impacts our patients and how our common values guide everything we do.

Leadership meet and greet

Our leadership wants to connect with each employee as we all help to support our hospitals and patients within Encompass Health. We invite new employees to attend a meet and greet where they can be introduced to a member of our senior leadership team and have open dialogue regarding our overall strategy and direction of the organization.
