I'm trying to remember a time when I am most proud to be an Encompass Health employee. I would have to say that it is every day. Because every day, I can make a difference in someone's life. Every day I look forward to being productive and useful. Every day I am validated that I am a valued member of the team. Every day I look forward to going into work, even on Mondays and Fridays. They are challenging, not difficult. Every day I am thankful for the opportunity to serve in the Encompass Cares mission to Haiti. I served proudly, and I would not have been able to do that if I wasn't an Encompass Health employee. Lastly, for the first time in my career, I have a feeling of belonging, acceptance and security.
