Chief Executive Officer
Lora was named chief executive officer of Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in July 2018 bringing more than 20 years’ healthcare leadership experience in long term acute care and non-profit acute care settings to the role. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from Georgia College and State University. In addition, she is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Medical Director
Dr. Harden earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama, where he also completed his family medicine residency. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has more than 18 years of clinical experience in acute, LTAC and inpatient rehabilitation.
Human Resources Director
Tamisha joined Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in December 2022. She has more than 15 years’ of healthcare leadership experience. She graduated from Crown College with a bachelor’s degree in public administration and associate degree in paralegal studies. Tamisha has extensive continuing education training in the areas of worker’s compensation, FMLA and employee relations.
Area Controller
Laura joined Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in February 2022. She began her career with Encompass Health in 2018 in Sunrise, Florida and transferred to Phenix City four years later. She is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 15 years of progressive financial and accounting experience in pharmaceutical and acute care financial leadership. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
Facilities Management Director
Danny has more than 40 years of maintenance experience and holds an associate degree in mechanical engineering. He has been in healthcare for the past 19 years. Danny has worked 15 years as a director of facilities at Encompass Health where he oversees security and is also the safety officer. Danny is a member of the Alabama Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) and is a Certified Health Care Physical Environment Worker.
Area Director of Quality and Risk
Stacey joined Regional Rehabilitation Hospital when it opened in 2003 and became the director of quality and risk management in 2006. She brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to Regional Rehabilitation Hospital. Stacey is from the Columbus/Phenix City area where she graduated from Columbus State University with a bachelor's degree in management and an associate degree in respiratory therapy.
Director of Therapy
Walter serves as director of therapy operations at Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, and has practiced as a licensed physical therapist for more than 22 years with focused practice in neurology, geriatrics and orthopedics. He graduated in 1995 from the physical therapy program at the Medical College of Georgia, where he served as class president. He has worked in acute care hospitals, outpatient facilities, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities and inpatient acute rehabilitation hospitals in the Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama markets. Walter has extensive continuing education training in the areas of geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic and vestibular physical therapy. His management experience includes senior therapist and then regional therapy director of a home health agency for four years. Most recently Walter severed as therapy manager for five years at Regional Rehabilitation Hospital.
Director of Pharmacy
Joe joined the Regional Rehabilitation Hospital team in 2017 as the director of pharmacy. He has more than 30 years of experience as a pharmacist. He has managed both retail and acute care hospital pharmacies, and is experienced in pharmacy operations, clinical pharmacy practice, and pharmacy informatics. He graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and a doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Florida. Joe has retail pharmacy experience as a pharmacy manager and hospital experience in numerous positions including clinical coordinator, pharmacy information systems coordinator, and pharmacy manager. He is also LEAN certified and serves as a preceptor for Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy students.
Area Business Development Director
Ivy has a passion for healthcare and brings to Regional Rehabilitation Hospital 20 years of sales and marketing experience. She was a rehab liaison for 10 years before she became a hospice care coordinator with Kindred Hospice. She recently returned to Regional Rehabilitation Hospital as the business development director. Ivy graduated from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's degree in health science.
Chief Nursing Officer
Annie is a first-generation college graduate from Troy University. She has been a nurse for more than 30 years serving in multi-leadership roles. She is currently the chief nursing officer at Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Phenix City, Alabama. She has earned multiple awards during her nursing career to include RN of the Year, LPN of the Year and The Florence Nightingale Award to name a few. She enjoys educating and helping people to empower them with knowledge to make them better citizens in the community.
