Martin Huerta was just 16 in December of 2018 when he was involved in a car wreck that resulted in the amputation of his right leg. He was saved by Chance Barnes, who was just a few cars away and jumped in to help save Martin when the car caught on fire. He chose Encompass Health Rehabilitation Institute of Tucson for his rehabilitative care to help him walk again. Now Encompass Health Tucson and Hanger Prosthetics are teaming up to get Martin a prosthetic leg to help him live a fuller life.
