MIDDLETOWN, Dela., Oct. 23, 2019 – Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown received the coveted Hospital of the Year Award during Encompass Health's Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet held Oct. 18 in Nashville, Tennessee. This is the second time in the past three years the hospital has achieved the top honor.

Encompass Health Middletown is the only hospital among Encompass Health's network of 133 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals to receive this award recognizing outstanding performance in development of clinical programs, quality of patient care services, high patient satisfaction scores, low percentage of employee turnover and overall operational excellence. The hospital serves patients who are recovering from conditions including strokes and other neurological disorders, cardiac and pulmonary conditions, brain and spinal cord injuries, complex orthopedic conditions and amputations.
