St. John Rehabilitation Hospital to host holiday open house and 20-bed expansion celebration
BROKEN ARROW, Okla., Nov. 7, 2019 – St. John Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health will host a holiday open house on Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 4 -6 p.m. at the hospital, located at 1200 West Albany Drive in Broken Arrow. The event will feature refreshments, tours of the new wing and technology demonstrations.
“We’re excited to welcome the community into our hospital to show the impact we make in peoples’ lives through the meaningful services we provide,” said David Nicholas, CEO of St. John Rehabilitation Hospital. “Our hospital appreciates the wonderful support we have received from this community, and we are grateful to be able to provide a meaningful service in return.”
The hospital has expanded to serve even more patients through high-quality, rehabilitative care. The expansion features 20 private patient rooms, more therapy gym space, an additional nurse station, a four-chair dialysis suite, and an enclosed, professionally landscaped courtyard to be used by patients, families and hospital staff. The expansion brings the hospital’s bed count to 60 private patient rooms.
St. John Rehabilitation Hospital provides multidisciplinary care that helps patients regain strength and function after experiencing a major illness or injury including stroke, brain injury, hip fracture, spinal cord injury or amputation.
