Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tustin will relocate to 15120 Kensington Park Drive, within the City of Tustin on or about December 9, 2021. The relocation to a new building that meets the required structural performance category ratings for hospital services will also allow the hospital to increase the number of inpatient rehabilitation beds from 48 to 65. Upon relocating, supplemental social services will no longer be provided directly by Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tustin. The elimination of the supplemental service will not result in the elimination of beds and there will be no associated decrease in personnel. This service currently provides patients and their families the means to understand and cope with the emotional and social problems affecting their health status. Once the service is eliminated, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital will ensure that patients and their families have access to these social services through contracted community providers. The elimination of this service will allow the hospital’s licensed clinical social workers to focus on case management services for inpatients and their families.
