Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Panama City celebrates 25 years

Group of employees at the 25th anniversary celebrationOn April 28th, 2022, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Panama City celebrated its 25th anniversary with food and music for staff, physicians and local community members. 25 years ago, the hospital opened its doors and began its commitment to helping members of their community regain independence after a life-changing illness or injury.

They have served thousands of patients in the Panama City area through advanced treatment and technologies that help them reach their greatest possible outcome. Over the last twenty-five years, Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Panama City has proudly remained committed to its company’s purpose and values. Through many changes and challenges, the hospital team has remained focused on the company’s five core values that guide and inspire their day-to-day work: they set the standard; lead with empathy; do what’s right; focus on the positive, and they have remained stronger together.

During the celebration, Chief Executive Officer, Tony Bennett presented a check to Gulf Coast State College Foundation for the Florida Blue Nursing & Allied Health Scholarship Award. The City of Panama City recognized the hospital’s commitment to their community, their patients and their exceptional staff.  Commissioner, Billy Rader presented a proclamation from the City to Chief Executive Officer, Tony Bennett.  Special thanks to Andriena Jackson, Business Development Director, for her party planning skills, and colorful creativity.  Everything came together to make this a wonderful celebration.
