TUSTIN, Cal., Aug. 3, 2022 – Paula Redmond has been appointed as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tustin. In her position as CEO, Redmond oversees all day-to-day operations, as well as patient care and quality, at the 65-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital located at 15120 Kensington Park Drive. She assumed the position in April 2022.

I am confident she will continue to elevate the quality of care our hospital provides to the community of Tustin and beyond in her new role.”

Redmond has over 20 years of experience in healthcare finance, leadership, and management.  She joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tustin in 2006 and served as the controller for the hospital for the past 15 years. In this role, Redmond managed all areas of accounting, including creating operating budgets and forecasts and completing all financial reporting and analysis with the executive team. Redmond was also responsible for the payroll data entry and processing of the hospital’s 250 employees. She served as an interim CEO for one year before transitioning into her current role as CEO.  Before her time at Encompass Health, Redmond worked as a controller for Memorial Care in San Clemente, California. Redmond has also worked in finance leadership positions in acute care settings and physician groups and has experience in public accounting, tax, and audit for non-profit organizations.

Redmond earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California.
