For James and Sharon Warren, five weeks was the longest they’ve been separated. While they both contracted COVID-19, they had two completely different recovery journeys. James had a one-week recovery while his wife had a five-week journey that included the ICU and five days of inpatient rehabilitation at Van Matre Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital to regain strength and function. On Sharon’s discharge day, the couple was reunited and excited to go on a mini date to celebrate.
