New medical director Amarabalan Rajendran, MD joins the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gadsden team
GADSDEN, Ala., Sept. 15, 2020 – Amarabalan Rajendran, MD has been named as the medical director of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gadsden, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives. As medical director, Rajendran, an independent practice physician, will work with clinicians and other staff members to create a care plan designed to meet the needs of each patient.
Prior to being named as medical director of the inpatient physical rehabilitation hospital, Dr. Rajendran served as medical director at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Rome, Ga. After graduating from Sri Ramachandra University (A Harvard Affiliate Medical School) in 2010, he completed his residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
