Kyllan Cody named CEO of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View

Kyllan CodyDallas, TX, May 20, 2021 – Kyllan Cody has been appointed as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View. In her position as CEO, Cody will oversee all of the day-to-day operations as well as patient care and quality at the 77-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, located at 6701 Oakmont Boulevard in Fort Worth. She assumed the position on May 17, 2021.

Prior to her current role at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View, Cody served as a healthcare management consultant for NueHealth for more than two years, where she provided management consultation to hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers in various areas including operations, regulatory compliance, physician partnerships, budgeting and business development. She previously served as CEO at Cook Children’s Surgery Center, a joint venture between Cook Children’s Medical Center, NueHealth, and a group of physician investors, for nearly five years. In this role, she executed the strategic vision of the AAAHC accredited surgery center and oversaw the transition from a Joint Commission accredited pediatric hospital with full-service imaging, laboratory, inpatient unit, urgent care, and emergency department. She also served as vice president of operations at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, Texas for four years, and chief operating officer at Dallas Regional Medical Center for nearly four years.

Cody earned her bachelor’s degree in political science at Wake Forest University and her master’s degree in health administration from Cornell University. She is a Fellow with the American College of Health Care Executives.
