Stroke survivor learns to eat again, returns to daily activities after rehabilitation

Marianne Warford has been able to get her life back after rehabilitation at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota. In February, she had a severe stroke that left her with no movement on her dominant right side. With the help of the therapy team at Encompass Health of Sarasota, she learned to eat again, and she’s now going to the gym, swimming and spending time with friends and family. She encourages other stroke survivors to surround themselves with people who care about you, and to “stay positive and work hard.”
