John Pugh thought he was going to die when his was intentionally hit and run over by a woman driving a Hummer in the parking lot of his place of work. “I remember the front tire rolling over me... I remember the sound of my ribs breaking,” said Pugh.

While grateful to be alive, Pugh still suffered many serious injuries including a collapsed lung, crushed ribs and collar bone, broken femur bone as well as a number of other injuries. After multiple surgeries, he was admitted to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Franklin to help him regain the strength and function he needed to return home.
