Encompass Health of Tucson hosts special patient graduation ceremony

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Institute of Tucson recently hosted a high school graduation ceremony for 18-year-old patient Issac Damien Vargen. He missed his high school graduation after he got in a car accident the day he was supposed to graduate. Encompass Health staff worked together to plan a special ceremony for him. He wore his cap and gown to walk around the hospital facility, providing him with a sense of the graduation ceremony he deserved. In an interview with KVOA, Issac said, “I feel like I’m doing way better and recovering well. But I’m here now, so thank God for the opportunity and a second chance in life.”
