KANSAS CITY, Kans., Feb. 4, 2022 – Dr. Jacqueline Smith, pulmonologist, has joined MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital as a fulltime member of the hospital’s medical staff. In this role, Dr. Smith will work with patients to restore respiratory function following a serious disease or injury.

Dr. Smith has more than two decades of experience serving in various clinical roles, including in an acute care inpatient hospital with a 20-bed ICU, sleep lab, and pulmonary function lab, as well as in an outpatient office practice, where she treated the full spectrum of pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders. Dr. Smith completed medical school, her internal medicine residency, and specialization in pulmonary and critical care medicine all from The University of Kansas School of Medicine.
