Congratulations to Dr. Lotfi Mamlouk and Dr. Brian Walsh for earning prestigious awards at the 2022 Annual Encompass Health Medical Director’s Meeting in Orlando.

The awards recognize doctors who not only provide exceptional care, but also represent Encompass Health to the communities we serve and inspire their teams to be the best they can be.

Dr. Mamlouk was named the 2022 Encompass Health Central Region Medical Director of the Year. He is a champion of our hospital’s DSC-Stroke Program and has worked tirelessly to increase our stroke patient satisfaction score by 8.5% according to NRC Health Satisfaction Surveys. Dr. Mamlouk is a confident leader who is always willing to collaborate and support staff at all levels, including those at a neighboring Encompass Health hospital.

Dr. Brian Walsh earned the 2022 Encompass Health Special Physician Achievement Award. Dr. Walsh is well regarded by patients, who often cite his bedside manner and thoroughness on patient surveys. He is an industry-leading expert in spinal cord injury and spearheaded the development and accreditation of our spinal cord injury program.
