David Jones, chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock, passed away surrounded by friends and family on Dec. 28. Since joining Encompass Health in 2012, David held various leadership positions, including CNO-trainer for our Southwest region and CNO of our hospitals in Jonesboro, Arkansas and Arlington, Texas. David achieved many nursing certifications during his career and became a CRRN, as well as earned his MBA. He created an environment that felt like family yet produced some of the best performance rates in the Company. David’s servant leadership, warmth and humor will be greatly missed by many.
