Hospital Happenings

Kyle Deville

Kyle Deville went to urgent care on Feb. 19 thinking it was a cold. It was actually COVID-19. He received a shot and was sent home. For a short time, he was doing great, but soon took a turn for the worse. He entered the hospital with an oxygen saturation of 73%. Once his condition stablized, he was transferred to Encompass Health Alexandria, so he could regain his strength, he could return home to his little girl. He could barely walk, but the Encompass Health Alexandria team of therapists and highly trained nurses worked with him, and slowly, he got stronger. Kyle was discharged only 10 days after his admission, and he walked out of the doors to hug his daughter after seven long weeks.
