Hospital happenings

Dave Nichols came to Encompass Health East Valley to recover from a spinal cord injury. While he was here, Dave never missed therapy, and he even volunteered to do extra therapy any time there was availability with a therapist. He maintained a positive attitude throughout the entire process, even when most people would have been overwhelmed and discouraged. His humor and positive outlook helped him in his recovery. Dave is surrounded by an army of friends and family, along with his entire therapy team supporting him each step of the way. Dave left our hospital with a customized home exercise regimen to continue improving his fine motor skills and sensation in his hands. Dave is looking forward to spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and getting back to his favorite hobby of competitive bass fishing.
