Hospital Happenings

Encompass Health celebrates the independence day of patients when they discharge back into the community. Wanda Beville came to Encompass Health Gadsden after suffering a stroke. She previously had a right-leg amputation. She worked diligently with her therapy staff and medical team to improve her mobility and independence with daily activities in order to return home. The staff witnessed a very special discharge celebration with Wanda as she performed the cupid shuffle with her physical therapist.
