Hospital happenings

Efrain came to Encompass Health RIT after being hospitalized with COVID-19 for several weeks. He has come a long way since he entered our hospital. He was on a liquid diet and is now eating solid food. He also was on oxygen, but no longer needs it, even while working in therapy. Darrien, his physical therapist, along with many other members of our team pushed him to regain his strength and mobility. He was bed bound when he came here and now can walk with his walker. After being away from home for over 100 days he has finally built up the strength to return home safely.
