FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Sept 30, 2021- Dr. David Liang, physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, has joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fredericksburg as a fulltime member of the hospital’s medical staff, effective August 31. In this role, Dr. Liang will work with patients to restore functional ability following a serious disease or injury.

Dr. Liang recently completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a medical master’s degree and a doctor of medicine, both from Eastern Virginia Medical School. During his time at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Dr. Liang received the Evelyn Lin, MD Memorial Award, an annual award presented to a graduating medical student for outstanding performance in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
