COVID survivor returns home after more than three months in hospital

33-year-old COVID survivor Cierra Chubb recently left Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Columbia to return home after more than three months in the hospital recovering from COVID-19, including 90 days in acute care and a week in inpatient rehabilitation. While in the acute care hospital recovering from COVID, then-pregnant Cierra experienced a number of challenges, including an emergency C-section to deliver her son, months on a ventilator, and weeks on ECMO support. After a week of intensive rehabilitation of Encompass Health of Columbia, she was finally able to return home to her husband and three children. Learn more about her story on Good Morning America:
