With more than 20 years in healthcare consisting of both clinical and operational roles, LaDessa brings a solid understanding of overall hospital operations to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Albuquerque. LaDessa has served in a variety of leadership roles including associate administrator, and director of therapy operations consisting of inpatient operations and outpatient areas. Prior to joining our Albuquerque team, LaDessa served as CEO at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson. LaDessa has a clinical background in occupational therapy. She has a doctorate degree in occupational therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals, a master’s degree in business administration and healthcare management from Western Governors University, and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Janice, a native New Mexican, is a registered nurse with more than 30 years of nursing experience, including 20 years as a nurse leader. Janice graduated from the New Mexico State University and the University of Phoenix with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Prior to joining Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Albuquerque, she served as a manager of quality/risk/infection control at the University of New Mexico and Sandoval Regional Medical Center.

Kristen brings more than 20 years of human resources experience to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Albuquerque. Prior to joining Encompass Health Hospital, Kristen was an interim HR Director/HR Generalist for Lovelace Health System. A native New Mexican, Kristen earned her bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in human resources from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico.

Tony, a native New Mexican and U.S. Air Force retiree, brings more than 20 years of experience working in healthcare facilities and plant operations. Tony is a licensed high pressure boiler operator in the state of New Mexico. He is also a member of the Indoor Air Quality Association.

Devin returned to her role with Encompass Health in 2023. She has more than 15 years of healthcare experience holding positions with pharmaceutical sales, payors, acute care delivery and acute rehabilitation. Prior to returning she served as regional manager of sales and business development with Ardent Health Services, overseeing business development for the New Mexico and Texas markets. Devin is a New Mexico native and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Michelle, a native New Mexican, graduated from the University of New Mexico, Anderson School of Business, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. She is a certified public accountant and has a background in public accounting. Prior to joining Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Albuquerque, she worked at UNM Hospitals as a director of finance. Michelle is a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants, New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Maureen brings 10 years of experience as a registered nurse and more than five years of leadership to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Albuquerque. Prior to joining Encompass Health, she was the manager of utilization review at Presbyterian Health Plan. She holds a master’s degree in nursing as well as a master's degree in business administration in healthcare management from Western Governors University.

Kerry has her master’s degree in speech-language pathology, more than 15 years of experience in healthcare and over five years of leadership experience. Prior to joining Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Albuquerque, she was the outpatient manager at Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital. Kerry started her career in inpatient rehabilitation and is excited to be returning to her first love.
