As part of the CalHHS Data Exchange Framework (DxF), hospitals are required to send ADT notifications to community providers as a Condition of Participation under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) program.
California participating organizations that would like to receive ADT notifications from Encompass Health hospitals in the state of California should submit a request to EHCinteroperability@encompasshealth.com. The request should include the organization name, organization contact, email address, phone number, and request specifics. The organization should be prepared to establish a VPN connection and receive ADT messages via HL7 format.
