At Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View, we are committed to helping you regain independence after a life-changing illness or injury. Located in Fort Worth and serving the surrounding areas including Burleson and Weatherford, we are a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation for stroke, Parkinson’s disease, amputation, brain injury and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
Using clinical collaboration and advanced technologies, we provide a personalized care plan designed to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals.
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital uses an interdisciplinary team approach that includes physical, speech and occupational therapists, rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, dietitians and more, combined with our advanced technology and expertise, to help you achieve your goals. You will receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week while under the constant care of registered nurses, many of whom specialize in rehabilitation, and frequent independent private practice physician* visits.
Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies, as needed.

Chief Executive Officer
Kyllan Cody joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View as CEO in May of 2021. Kyllan has 17 years of senior leader healthcare operations experience. Prior to her current role at Encompass Health, Kyllan served as a healthcare management consultant for NueHealth. Kyllan also served as administrator for Cook Children’s Surgery Center, vice president of operations at Methodist Charlton Medical Center and in various roles in acute care settings in Texas and Florida. Kyllan is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from Cornell University and a bachelor's degree in political science from Wake Forest University.
Dr. Donovan became the medical director for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth in 1995. As medical director, he is responsible for the care and treatment of patients who have experienced multiple trauma, fractures, head injuries, strokes and other musculoskeletal types of injuries. Dr. Donovan began his private practice in Fort Worth in 1992 after completing a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Donovan is an independent private practice physician.
PM&R Program Director
Dr. Gary Campbell has been affiliated with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View since August 2014. He is board-certified in spinal cord injury and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Campbell earned his doctorate of osteopathy degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. He completed his rotating internship in 2000, his rehabilitation medicine residency in 2002 and his post-doctoral fellowship in spinal cord Injury in 2004.
Dr. Campbell is an independent private practice physician.
Director of Quality/Risk Management
Mark has been with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View since 2008 and was named the director of quality/risk management in May 2014. During his career with the company he has also held positions as a speech language pathologist and prospective payment system coordinator. He has a strong focus toward providing an excellent patient experience through comfort, professionalism and respect. Originally from Portland, Oregon, he attended Portland State University and graduated with bachelor’s degrees in applied linguistics, speech and hearing sciences, as well as a master’s degree in speech language pathology.
Director of Case Management
Micah has been with Encompass Health since May 2011. She has served in many roles throughout her time with Encompass Health spanning from case management assistant to clinical liaison and case manager. Micah joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View as the director of case management July 2021. She is a registered nurse, accredited case manager and also holds bachelor's degrees in both psychology and sociology. Micah graduated with her nursing degree from Columbia College and with her degrees in psychology and sociology from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
Chief Nursing Officer
Mary is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse® with extensive nursing and leadership experience. She returned to Encompass Health in March 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science (nursing) from Texas Woman’s University. She is responsible for the supervision of nursing personnel and the delivery of quality care to all our patients and family.
Director of Plant Operations
Mike became director of plant operations at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View in June 2010. He has worked as supervisor and manager of biomedical engineering, as well as director of facility management, at several area hospitals. Mike is from Richmond, Indiana, and joined the Air Force in 1976, which brought him to Texas. He earned an associate degree in biomedical equipment technology while in the Air Force and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at UTA after an honorable discharge from the USAF in 1989.
Chief Financial Officer
Sherry has served as chief financial officer at Encompass Health since 2006. Previously, she worked for the State of West Virginia at Bateman Hospital as chief financial officer and equal employment opportunity (EEO) counselor. Sherry graduated from Morehead State University in Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in business administration in accounting.
Director of Human Resources
Laurie joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View in 1999. She was named director of human resources in 2008 and has over 35 years of rehabilitation health care experience. Laurie graduated from the University of Phoenix and holds a bachelor's degree in human resources and master's degrees in healthcare administration and business administration.
Director of Therapy Operations
Sheryl was named director of therapy operations at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View in July 2018. Prior to this she served as the lead physical therapist for five years. She graduated from Texas Tech University’s Allied Health Science Center where she received her master’s degree in physical therapy and has been a physical therapist for 17 years with experience in long term acute care, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities as well as home health.
Hospital HIPPA Officer
Diana is the health information management supervisor and hospital privacy officer. She began working with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth in 2015. Then in 2018, she became part of the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View team. Diana holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a certification as a billing and coding specialist from the National Healthcare Association.
Director of Pharmacy
Sara is responsible for developing, managing, promoting and expanding pharmacy services to our patients. Sara joined the Company in 2008 as director of pharmacy in Fort Worth, Texas. In addition to her role as director, Sara also serves as regional preceptor, onboarding new pharmacy directors and mentoring pharmacists in the southwest region. She is involved in teaching the next generation of pharmacists in her role as a pharmacy preceptor for University of North Texas School of Pharmacy and UT Tyler School of Pharmacy. Sara was honored with the Preceptor of the Year Award for UNTHSC in 2015. Texas Pharmacy Association bestowed the Excellence in Innovation Award to Sara in 2018 for her work in improving medication counseling in inpatient settings. Sara graduated from Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Pharmacy in 2004.
Area Business Development Director
As the business development director, Kendal brings more than 10 years of accomplished healthcare marketing and business development experience to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View. Kendal originally started her healthcare marketing career with Encompass Health's outpatient rehabilitation locations in Fort Worth and Arlington in 2003. Kendal grew up in Amarillo and moved to Dallas/Fort Worth in 2002. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications.
