Scott is a transformational executive known for his ability to build strong teams and cultures of success in the hospitals he leads. Starting his healthcare journey in 2004, he has since held senior leadership positions in hospitals across New York, Indiana, Florida and South Carolina. Scott received his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo and his master's degree in business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. As area CEO, Scott is responsible for the operations of Encompass of Fort Mill while also maintaining oversight of Encompass of Rock Hill.

Dr. Hogue is the medical director at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Mill, and she received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Alabama School of Medicine.  She completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and she completed her spinal cord injury medicine fellowship at the University of Texas for Health Sciences Center in Houston, Texas. She is board certified by the ABPMR in physical medicine and rehabilitation and spinal cord injury medicine. Dr. Hogue has more than 16 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation medicine and leadership. Prior to joining the Encompass Health team, Dr. Hogue was the medical director of the spinal cord injury medicine program at Carolinas Rehabilitation. She is committed to improving access to rehabilitation services in underserved populations and improving access to care for women with disabilities.

Dr. Hogue is an independent private practice physician.

With a diverse background spanning more than 30 years, Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and experience to the Encompass team. He is a Certified Professional Maintenance Manager and Certified Healthcare Manager as well as a licensed contractor in both North and South Carolina - all of which serve him well in his career in facilities management. He is also known for his unwavering dedication to excellence and his commitment to elevated standards.

Caryl brings more than 16 years of case management expertise to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Mill. A native of South Carolina, she graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in social work. She also received her master's degree in business administration and health administration (MBA-MHA) degree from South University-Columbia. Caryl is a board member of the SC American Case Management Association and has her ACM-SW and CMAC credentials through the ACMA.

Jacob has been with Encompass Health since 2013. He started as the director of pharmacy at the Montgomery and Phenix City, Alabama locations. He also worked in the Rock Hill, South Carolina location as a clinical pharmacist. Jacob earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Auburn University in 2008 and completed the SIDP Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate Program in 2019. Jacob has considerable experience with inpatient rehabilitation and has led initiatives in antimicrobial and opioid stewardship while at Encompass Health.

Trent brings more than 20 years of healthcare management expertise to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Rock Hill. He has lived in Rock Hill since 1997 and has been with Encompass Health since 2015. Trent received his associate's degree from St. Petersburg College in Saint Petersburg, FL and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Winthrop University. He worked in complex rehab as a certified ATP and was the co-owner of a durable medical equipment company in Charlotte, NC for 15 years. Trent currently serves as a board member for local businesses.

Brian joins Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital bringing nearly two decades of experience as an occupational therapist, university professor, and private practice owner. A native of the Fort Mill area, Brian holds a bachelor's degree from Winthrop University, a master's degree in rehabilitation science and occupational therapy, and a Doctor of Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina. With advanced certifications in neurologic conditions, Brian is well-equipped to make a significant impact on our team and patients.

John brings more than 20 years of human resource management experience to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Mill. He is a results-focused leader who delivers retention, talent acquisition, and employee engagement solutions that assist companies in harnessing the full power of one of their most valuable assets – their people. One of John’s goals at Encompass Health Fort Mill is to create and empower a diverse workforce and culture. He has earned a double bachelor's degree from Florida State University.

Kayla brings over 11 years of healthcare experience to Encompass Health. A native of Fort Mill, she has worked in this community in various healthcare roles throughout her career. Kayla is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, is certified in infection control, and has a lean six sigma black belt. She excels in leveraging her education, leadership acumen and clinical skillset to provide guidance for this facility. Kayla received her associate's degree in nursing from York Technical College, bachelor's degree in nursing and master's degree in healthcare administration from Grand Canyon University, and an additional master's degree in nursing with a specialty in infection prevention and control from American Sentinel University.

Brian serves as the quality and risk director for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Mill. He has over 23 years of administrative and clinical healthcare experience. Before transitioning to Encompass Health, Brian was the area director of quality management for an LTACH in NC - overseeing the hospital’s quality, risk management, compliance and infection control programs. Brian earned his master’s in business administration from Steven-Henagar’s College and a dual degree from Washburn University/OC-tech in respiratory therapy and vascular ultrasound. He is a healthcare accreditation certified professional. He is solution-oriented, outcome-driven, and a builder of bridges.
