Getting started with pulmonary rehabilitation
We offer a comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation program to help you or your loved one manage chronic lung conditions. Our expert team works with you to improve lung function, ease breathing difficulties, and support your overall recovery—so you can feel more confident and return to the activities you enjoy.

Receiving pulmonary rehabilitation
If you have a chronic lung condition such as COPD or pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary rehabilitation can help you breathe more easily, build strength and regain independence. While pulmonary disease is not typically the main reason for inpatient rehabilitation, our program can support you if you have a lung condition alongside another illness or injury.
For example, if you’re recovering from surgery, a heart condition or another serious health event, pulmonary rehabilitation can help you manage symptoms and recover quicker.
Your care team will design a personalized plan that meets your needs and supports your goal of safely returning home.

Benefits of pulmonary rehabilitation
Every program begins with a full assessment so we can better understand your breathing challenges, activity level and goals. From there, we’ll create a treatment plan tailored to you. Pulmonary rehabilitation can help you:
- Breathe easier during daily activities
- Improve your strength, stamina, and physical fitness
- Learn breathing techniques to manage shortness of breath
- Use oxygen safely and effectively
- Eat in a way that supports better breathing
- Understand your medications and how to avoid symptom triggers
- Cope with the emotional impact of chronic lung disease
