Troy Clark, FACHE, has served as the CEO of Rehabilitation Hospital of Kingsport, a joint venture of Ballad Health and Encompass Health since 2014. In September 2019, he was also named as CEO for The Rehabilitation Hospital of Bristol, a Joint Venture of Ballad Health and Encompass Health. He has served as vice president, chief operating officer and other leadership roles with Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. He is a certified healthcare executive and fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Troy received his bachelor's degree in cardiopulmonary studies from the University of South Alabama and master's degrees in business administration and health services administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Makram Jurdi has been providing care for East Tennessee communities since 2011. He has extensive training and experience in acute care, internal medicine, orthopedics and rehabilitation medicine. Following his education, Dr. Jurdi practiced in hospital medicine and skilled nursing. His most recent years have been spent caring for patients in rehabilitation hospitals in Northeast Tennessee, assisting them in improving their functional status and overall health. Dr. Jurdi is board certified in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine. When Dr. Jurdi is not caring for patients, he enjoys playing soccer, traveling and spending time with his wife, Lara, and two children, Sam and Sophie

Dr. Jurdi is an independent private practice physician.

Ashley has served in the healthcare human resources sector for 13 years. Prior to that she served as human resources director in the oil industry for five years. She graduated from East Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in human resources management. She continued her education with a master’s degree from King University also in business management in 2009.

Pam has served in the healthcare industry for over 40 years. She received her master’s degree in business administration from Milligan College. She is a licensed nursing home administrator and has been employed with Rehabilitation Hospital of Kingsport since December 2019. Pam is also a registered respiratory therapist.

Paul has found his passion in healthcare and has worked in healthcare operations management since 2016. He graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho with honors, earning a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in finance. Paul graduated from Air Force basic military training with honors and is an Operation Freedom’s Sentinel veteran.

Lisa graduated from East Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a lifelong resident of Northeast Tennessee and loves spending time with her family.

Kevin has been with Encompass Health for three years. Kevin previously served as maintenance mechanic and maintenance manager before being promoted to his current role. His responsibilities as facilities management director include oversight of safety, security, engineering, dietary, housekeeping, waste management, emergency preparedness and life safety.

Lauren is the director of therapy operations and has served as a speech-language pathologist in the public healthcare system since 2012. She has also served in leadership positions since her commission as an U.S. Army officer in 2007 with prior enlisted service since 2000.

Debra has served in the healthcare industry for nearly 30 years. She received her nursing degree from Virginia Appalachian Tri-College Nursing Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Virginia Intermont and has been employed with Rehabilitation Hospital of Kingsport since 1999. Debra is also a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN®).

Donna has been a pharmacist for more than 25 years. Graduating pharmacy school from the University of Kentucky in 1986, she has gained experience working in a hospital setting for 15 years and 10 years in a home infusion setting as pharmacy manager/director of pharmacy. She started with Rehabilitation Hospital of Kingsport in January of 2014.

Ken has over 39 years of healthcare experience. He began at Rehabilitation Hospital of Kingsport in May of 2018 as director of case management. Prior to that position, he was employed at Holston Valley Medical Center for 23 years and worked in the management of a variety of departments. He holds an associate’s degree in nursing from Los Angeles Pierce College and worked as a clinical RN in emergency and radiology departments throughout his career. He earned a BSN degree in 2006 and an MBA with healthcare concentration in 2009, both from King University in Bristol.
