Tij joined Encompass Health Las Vegas (EHLV) in 2013 after completing his master's of science in speech language pathology at the University of Utah. Prior to becoming the EHLV CEO, he served as a speech therapist and, later, as the patient assessment standards coordinator. Most recently, Tij trained as an executive in the Encompass Health CEO development program. He currently serves on the Encompass Health Inclusion and Diversity Committee and holds a lean six sigma black belt. Tij earned dual bachelor's degrees in Russian (arts) and communication science and disorders (science) from Brigham Young University.

Dr. Farzin serves as the medical director for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas. Dr. Farzin received his medical doctorate from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 1992. He completed his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Services at Queens Hospital in Jamaica, NY and his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Farzin is currently board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has been since 2005. He is also a faculty member at the MountainView Internal Medicine Program. Dr. Farzin has served as an attending physician at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas since 2004.

Dr. Farzin is an independent private practice physician.

Tracey joined the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas team in May 2005 and currently serves as the director of quality and risk management. She is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management which focuses on developing and implementing safe and effective patient care practices. Tracey holds a Bachelor of Arts in exercise sports science: athletic training and master's degree in organizational management. Tracey is committed to continuously improving quality outcomes, operational excellence and the patient experience. She is proud to be a member of a hospital committed to helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and return to back to the community.

Chanda has worked at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas since 2020. She has over fifteen years of experience in various industries. Prior to joining EHLV, Chanda worked in aviation and aerospace, gaming, healthcare and finance. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration in human resources management from the California State University at Long Beach. Chanda has earned her certification as a senior professional in human resources.

TK joined Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas in October 2015 as the director of pharmacy after working briefly within the community pharmacy setting. He earned his doctorate degree and master's degree in business administration from the Roseman University of Health Sciences. He also holds a dual bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on management and operations management. TK serves as the Encompass Health West region preceptor for directors of pharmacy and holds a Lean Six Sigma certification.

Verrene joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas in 2024 as the director of case management after relocating from California. Verrene has more than 30 years' experience as a medical social worker and case manager. Her experience includes acute care, home health, hospice and dialysis. She obtained her bachelor's degree in social work from the University of West Alabama (formerly Livingston University) and her master's degree from Grand Canyon University. Additionally, she holds certificates in grief and bereavement as well as Christian counseling.

Alison joined the Encompass Health Las Vegas team in 2014. As a member of the leadership team, she has worked as the facilities management director overseeing environment of care life safety and emergency management since 2015. She also serves as the designated safety & security officer. Alison is the certified crisis prevention intervention instructor for all hospital staff. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Alison is dedicated to ensuring high quality healthcare in a safe and secure environment.

Ryan joined Encompass Health in 2018 as the controller. He earned his CNA certification at the age of 17. Prior to joining Encompass Health, Ryan worked in public accounting and has been a licensed CPA since 2015. He provided three years of pro-bono management and accounting services to the Economic Club of Las Vegas and was elected by the board to serve as an officer in the role of vice president of operations. Ryan has volunteered through his membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints which include service as the ward clerk over finance. Ryan graduated summa cum laude with honors from Dixie State University and was honored as the School of Business Valedictorian. In 2013, Ryan was selected as a founding member of the university’s accounting education advisory committee. For graduate school, Ryan attended Southern Utah University. He earned master’s degrees in business administration and accountancy and was honored to be the School of Business Outstanding Master's Graduate for MBA.

Melanie joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Las Vegas as the chief nursing officer in January 2024. She is a healthcare executive with over 25 years of leadership experience, both internationally and within the United States, in large acute healthcare settings. She holds a master's degree in organizational healthcare leadership and is nationally certified as both a clinical nurse leader and an advanced healthcare executive. Melanie has a passion for clinical excellence and engaging teams through evidence-based practice to provide the highest standards of patient care.
