Nov. 5, 2024 - Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Tucson hosted their fifth annual Amputee Running and Wellness Clinic for individuals living with limb loss. The successful event allowed amputees and caregivers to receive resources for both physical and emotional support and fostered a time of meeting others living with similar challenges. The clinic was hosted in partnership with Hanger Clinic.
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Tucson provides inpatient therapy following amputation and once a prosthetic is received. Following the prosthetic fitting, the hospital offers a multidisciplinary approach for patients to reach maximum functional independence.
