Gina Tipton named CEO of Rehabilitation Hospital of Atlanta

Gina Tipton has been appointed as chief executive officer of the Rehabilitation Hospital of Atlanta. The 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital is under construction at 1968 Peachtree Road NW in Atlanta as a hospital-in-hospital concept inside Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

Encompass Health and Piedmont begin construction on rehabilitation hospital in Atlanta, Georgia

Encompass Health Corp. and Piedmont announced today the start of construction for the future joint-venture rehabilitation hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. The 40-bed hospital will be built inside of the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital as a hospital-in-hospital structure and is expected to begin caring for patients in spring 2024.
