Late last year, Devon Spivey suffered a rare heart condition, which resulted in a monthlong ICU stay and the amputation of both legs. During his recovery process, Devon participated in inpatient rehabilitation at Encompass Health Cincinnati where part of his therapy included learning to walk again.

The Cincinnati Zoo sent crates of tulips to area healthcare facilities. Members of the leadership team at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Cincinnati were excited to distribute them to spread cheer to patients and staff.
