Chief Executive Officer
Kyllan Cody joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View as CEO in May of 2021. Kyllan has 17 years of senior leader healthcare operations experience. Prior to her current role at Encompass Health, Kyllan served as a healthcare management consultant for NueHealth. Kyllan also served as administrator for Cook Children’s Surgery Center, vice president of operations at Methodist Charlton Medical Center and in various roles in acute care settings in Texas and Florida. Kyllan is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from Cornell University and a bachelor's degree in political science from Wake Forest University.
Medical Director
Dr. Donovan became the medical director for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth in 1995. As medical director, he is responsible for the care and treatment of patients who have experienced multiple trauma, fractures, head injuries, strokes and other musculoskeletal types of injuries. Dr. Donovan began his private practice in Fort Worth in 1992 after completing a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Donovan is an independent private practice physician.
PM&R Program Director
Dr. Gary Campbell has been affiliated with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View since August 2014. He is board-certified in spinal cord injury and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Campbell earned his doctorate of osteopathy degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. He completed his rotating internship in 2000, his rehabilitation medicine residency in 2002 and his post-doctoral fellowship in spinal cord Injury in 2004.
Dr. Campbell is an independent private practice physician.
Director of Therapy Operations
Mark has been with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View since 2008 and was named the director of therapy operations in March 2022. During his career with the company, he has also held positions as a speech language pathologist and director of quality & risk management. He has a strong focus toward providing an excellent patient experience through comfort, professionalism and respect. Originally from Portland, Oregon, he attended Portland State University and graduated with bachelor’s degrees in applied linguistics, speech and hearing sciences, as well as a master’s degree in speech language pathology.
Director of Quality & Risk
Karen is the director of quality and risk management at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View. Karen has more than 25 years of healthcare experience and has been with Encompass Health for more than 10 years. She is a graduate of University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and Texas Women’s University with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. Prior to becoming the director of quality and risk, she worked as OT team lead and a treating occupational therapist at an Encompass Health facility.
Director of Human Resources
Laurie joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View in 1999. She was named director of human resources in 2008 and has over 35 years of rehabilitation health care experience. Laurie graduated from the University of Phoenix and holds a bachelor's degree in human resources and master's degrees in healthcare administration and business administration.
Business Development Director
Dwayne brings nine years of accomplished healthcare marketing and business development experience to Encompass Health. Dwayne joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View as a rehabilitation liaison in October 2014 and was promoted to business development director in April 2022. Prior to his tenure with Encompass Health, Dwayne served as a telemetry nurse at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Irving. Dwayne graduated with bachelor’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2010.
Director of Pharmacy
Sara is responsible for developing, managing, promoting and expanding pharmacy services to our patients. Sara joined the Company in 2008 as director of pharmacy in Fort Worth, Texas. In addition to her role as director, Sara also serves as regional preceptor, onboarding new pharmacy directors and mentoring pharmacists in the southwest region. She is involved in teaching the next generation of pharmacists in her role as a pharmacy preceptor for University of North Texas School of Pharmacy and UT Tyler School of Pharmacy. Sara was honored with the Preceptor of the Year Award for UNTHSC in 2015. Texas Pharmacy Association bestowed the Excellence in Innovation Award to Sara in 2018 for her work in improving medication counseling in inpatient settings. Sara graduated from Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Pharmacy in 2004.
Controller
Lance joined the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of City View team as the controller in June 2022. Prior to joining Encompass Health City View, he served as a senior accountant with The Hospitals of Providence in his hometown of El Paso, Texas. Lance holds bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance from New Mexico State University and has nearly a decade of healthcare finance experience.
Chief Nursing Officer
Kristen joined the Encompass team in January 2023. As the chief nursing officer, she is passionate about serving our patients, while also focusing on developing a team that is prepared to provide exceptional care to those patients. She has been a registered nurse for more than 25 years, graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1997. She graduated with a master’s degree in nursing with a concentration in leadership from Regis University in 2008. Kristen has a vast array of healthcare operations and leadership experience across various healthcare settings.
