Chief Executive Officer
Margaret has been with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan for more than 18 years and brings more than 20 years of healthcare management experience to Encompass Health Dothan. She is a graduate of Georgia Southwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Margaret received her master’s degree in business administration from Troy University.
Medical Director
Dr. Stokes has been practicing internal medicine in Dothan, AL since 2014.
Dr. Stokes has been practicing internal medicine in Dothan, AL since 2014. He became medical director of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan in 2021. He completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Alabama and attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He did his residency in internal medicine at Danville Regional Medical Center in Danville, VA and served as chief resident. Dr. Stokes is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and was named a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists in 2019.
Dr. Stokes is an independent private practice physician.
Director of Case Management
Tamra joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan in October of 2021. She earned her associate's degree in nursing from Wallace Community College. She has more than 18 years of healthcare experience with 11 of those years in case management. Tamra has held a leadership position for the past seven years. Prior to joining Encompass Health, Tamra worked at Flowers Hospital for 21 years with her last role as supervisor of case management.
Director of Pharmacy
Bo began working for Encompass Health Dothan in 2018 and was promoted to director of pharmacy in January 2020. He has a bachelor's degree from Birmingham-Southern College and a doctorate degree in pharmacy from Auburn University. Bo has over 19 years of experience in all aspects of pharmacy practice. Bo is proud to say he is Dothan native.
Business Development Director
Adrian has been employed with Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan since 2015. He has more than 20 years of leadership experience. He earned his associate degree in nursing from Wallace Community College and his bachelor's degree in nursing from Jacksonville State University. Adrian also holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Troy University.
Director of Therapy Operations
Caroline has been with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan since 2015. She has more than 10 years of experience in occupational therapy, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of brain injury and neurological disorders and has earned her certification in neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT). Caroline graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences and then earned her master's degree in occupational therapy from Alabama State University.
Chief Nursing Officer
Casey joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan in 2017. She has more than 17 years of healthcare experience in areas of orthopedics, neurosurgery and med-surg. Casey has held a nurse leadership position for the past 10 years with success in managing departmental operations for an acute care inpatient healthcare system. She obtained an associate degree in nursing from Wallace Community College and bachelor’s in nursing from Jacksonville State University. She is a member of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses. Casey is also a certified rehabilitation registered nurse (CRRN®)
Controller
Amanda joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan as the hospital controller in May of 2018. She began her career in 2007 as an auditor for a regional accounting firm, providing accounting services to hospitals and financial institutions throughout the southeast. Amanda graduated from Troy State University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration in 2009.
Facilities Management Director
John has more than 20 years of maintenance experience. He has been in healthcare for the past 11 years. John has worked six years as a maintenance supervisor of plant operations until promoted to director of plant operations in December 2013. John also oversees security and is the safety officer at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan. John is a member of the Alabama Society of HealthCare Engineers (ALSHE) and Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH).
Director of Quality & Risk
Michelle re-joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan in 2017. She has more than 15 years of healthcare experience in the areas of infection control, education, med-surg and rehabilitation nursing. She earned her associate degree in nursing from Wallace Community College, and she received her bachelor’s in nursing from Jacksonville State University.
