Dodi brings more than 20 years of healthcare management expertise to the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fitchburg. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. She received her master’s degree in health administration from the University of Phoenix. She has served as a leader in multiple areas of rehabilitation including outpatient, subacute care and inpatient rehabilitation.

Dr. Cowling is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a primary focus on acute and subacute rehab, orthotics and prosthetics, and the non-surgical management of musculoskeletal injuries. He completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin and continues to proudly serve the greater Madison area. Prior to joining Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fitchburg he served as the interim medical director for the Rehabilitation Hospital of Western Wisconsin. Dr. Cowling has a passion for teaching and expanding the role of physiatry in both acute and post-acute care. He serves as the director of early career physician development for Medrina as well as the chair of skilled nursing facilities for the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He actively serves on the academies registry steering committee to help oversee the design, implementation and management of AAPM&R’s registry and advance research in physiatry.

Dr. Cowling is an independent private practice physician.

Tyler joins Encompass Health with more than 10 years of nursing experience from the bedside to his current role in hospital leadership. He graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and has achieved his master's degree in nursing leadership and administration from Capella University. His clinical background includes both medical-surgical and critical-care experience with a primary focus on stroke, neurosurgical, trauma and acute-care surgery populations. He has achieved advanced certification in critical care from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and advanced certification in trauma care from the Board of Certification for emergency nursing.

Adam proudly joined Encompass Health in 2023 and brings more than 15 years of maintenance and facility management experience. Born in Wisconsin, Adam joined the United States Army where he earned a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership from Thomas Edison State University while serving in several leadership positions facilitating maintenance and developing teams.

Josh brings over a decade of inpatient rehabilitation experience to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fitchburg. A Wisconsin native, Josh earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Throughout his career he has had the opportunity to develop his occupational therapy skills through experiences from Washington, D.C. to Texas, before ultimately landing back in Wisconsin. Having experience across the healthcare continuum of care, he has spent the past 5 years focused on leading high-quality, patient centered care in the inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Heather is a financial and business professional with more than 20 years of diverse experience in accounting and financial management roles. She has worked in the healthcare industry for ten years. Heather has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and master’s degree in professional accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Sara has been a pharmacist for more than 14 years. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2009 from the University of Minnesota – Duluth.  In 2016, she received her master’s in business administration degree from The College of St. Scholastica. Sara enjoys educating patients about their medications including what you should and shouldn’t expect when taking them. She is excited to continue seeing patients while also leading the pharmacy team as the Director of Pharmacy at Encompass Health Rehabilitation hospital of Fitchburg.

Ashmita brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fitchburg. She has worked in a variety of settings throughout her career including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care and outpatient. Ashmita earned her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Manipal College of Health Professions in India. She began her career as a physical therapist and transitioned to a case manager role more than two years ago. Her focus is to work with the interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve independence and help identify barriers patients may have in reaching their full potential.

Corrina serves as business development director at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fitchburg. She brings more than 13 years of healthcare experience to the team with focus in the areas of functional medicine, home health, hospice, business development, sales and marketing. She earned an associate's degree in graphic design from Western Technical College - La Crosse and a bachelor's degree in communications - public relations from University of Wisconsin- La Crosse.

Stephanie is our director of quality and risk at Encompass Health Fitchburg. She has served in inpatient rehabilitation for over a decade, starting her career as occupational therapist at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) in Houston, TX. She continued her inpatient rehabilitation therapy career in Madison, WI where she eventually moved into director of quality and risk management position. She received her master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse.

Sarah brings more than 19 years of human resources expertise to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fitchburg. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources from University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a Juris Master degree from Florida State University College of Law. She is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and SHRM-SCP. Sarah enjoys welcoming new employees to Encompass Health and solving complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions.
