Chief Executive Officer
Mark Studdard was named interim chief executive officer at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gulfport in April 2021. Prior to joining Encompass Health , Mark served in several vice president roles at Magnolia Regional Health Center from 2004 - 2020. He received his bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition from Georgia Southern University and completed his clinical rotations at the University of Kentucky. Mark achieved his master‘s degree in administration from Northern Arizona University and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Dr. Voulters is a neurologist practicing at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. Dr. Voulters grew up in the United Kingdom attending medical school at the University of London and later completing his MBA at George Mason University. His training included serving as house physician and later house surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital in London and as chief resident in neurology at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. He completed his fellowship in movement disorders at the Neurological Institute, College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. He is the first internationally trained president of MSMA.
Dr. Voulters is an independent private practice physician.
Director of Case Management
Grace joined the administration team as director of case management at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gulfport in April 2022. She has worked for Encompass Health since 2019 with her background being in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation case management. Grace obtained dual bachelor's degrees in social work and sociology as well as a master’s degree in social work all from the University of Alabama.
Cindy joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gulfport as the controller in May 2022. She brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare finance, having served as controller and interim CFO in an acute care setting. Cindy received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi. She is a certified public accountant and a member of the Mississippi Society of CPAs. She lives in Gulfport with her husband and enjoys spending time with her family.
Human Resources Director
Tammi brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare management and human resources. She started her role as human resources director for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gulfport in April 2022. Tammi has worked in both hospital and clinic environments throughout her career. She holds a degree in business administration.
Director of Pharmacy
Dr. Lacoste has served as the director of pharmacy at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gulfport since September 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and a doctorate degree from William Carey University School of Pharmacy. She came to Encompass Health first as a family member of a patient, again as a pharmacy student completing clinical rotations and finally as a pharmacist. She worked as a pharmacist at Encompass Health for a year prior to becoming director.
Director of Therapy
Jacquie Lipski earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Dalhousie University prior to graduating with honors from the University of Western Ontario with her Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences degree in occupational therapy. Jacquie brings more than 20 years of rehabilitation experience to our Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gulfport team. She lives in Long Beach with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work, she greatly enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and volunteering for school and community organizations.
Business Development Director
Nathan earned his master’s degree in social work from New Mexico State University.
Nathan earned his master’s degree in social work from New Mexico State University. He brings more than 15 years of management experience to our Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gulfport team. Nathan resides in Diamondhead with his wife and two sons. If you can’t find Nathan in the outdoors, then he is likely somewhere on a soccer pitch with one of his two sons or traveling with his wife.
Chief Nursing Officer
Jennifer has served as the chief nursing officer at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gulfport since February 2022. She has an extensive background as a nurse in cardiac and critical care services and has participated in national clinical research trials. Additionally, Jennifer has provided patient care as a nurse practitioner in cardiology and family practice settings, and has served as nursing faculty at a local college. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mississippi College, a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi and a doctorate degree in nursing practice from Samford University. Jennifer is a published author and holds a green belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
Director of Quality and Risk
Linda Stovall was named director of quality and risk of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gulfport in March 2017. Linda has a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy and brings more than 30 years of experience in the field of rehabilitation. Prior to joining to the Encompass Health in this role, Linda served as the program manager for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit of Memorial Hospital at Gulfport. In her role as program manager she facilitated Joint Commission and CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Accreditations, compliance with federal/state guidelines, and managed the quality and risk reporting process with an emphasis on safety and positive patient focused outcomes. She lives in Long Beach, Miss. with her husband and enjoys time with friends and family, community volunteering, and traveling.
