Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Harmarville and Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sewickley recently unveiled their new EksoNR technology for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury and various neurological conditions.

Every August, our case management department hosts a donation drive for a local pet rescue agency, Paws Across Pittsburgh. Pictured is a member of our case management team with just a portion of the donation pile. Thank you to all who donated!

When Lisa Sprague underwent a total knee replacement in January 2020, she developed muscle spasms in her leg that made it difficult to walk and was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. She was sent home to do physical therapy but struggled to walk and complete activities of daily living, and couldn't put any weight on her leg.

Our hospital was treated to quite the performance as Bailey the therapy dog showed off her skills in our courtyard for patients to watch through their windows. A big thank you to Bailey and her mom for bringing smiles to the faces of our patients and employees.
