Chief Executive Officer
Amber Hester is a chief executive officer, overseeing operations for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Henry. Before assuming her current role in mid-2021, she served as the chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Gulfport since March 2017. Hester also has experience as the chief executive officer of two long term acute care hospitals in the Boston market. She started her career with Encompass Health working in various accounting and leadership roles at the home office in Birmingham, Ala. from 2005 – 2012. She attended Auburn University and studied marketing and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration with an accounting concentration.
Medical Director
Dr. Ojile is a board certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. She received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Subsequently, she completed her residency training at Temple University teaching hospital specializing in the management and treatment of complex rehabilitation patients. As a rehabilitation specialist, Dr. Ojile has medical expertise in caring for patients with strokes, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, occupational injuries, neurological disorders, spinal disorders, stroke, amputations, sports-related injuries and pain disorders.
Director of Pharmacy
Fajr Hassan received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Florida A&M University’s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Tallahassee, Florida. She went on to serve as a pharmacy practice and research fellow specializing in diabetes management in the primary care setting. Subsequently, she obtained board certification in advanced diabetes management, serving community members with diabetes and chronic comorbidities. Prior to transferring to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Henry in mid-2021, Dr. Hassan worked at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tallahassee since 2015. There, she created and cultivated the weekly diabetes self-management education curriculum for inpatients and their families. Her passion is helping redefine the roles and contributions of pharmacists in inpatient settings. She also serves as a member of FAMU College of Pharmacy’s Clinical Faculty where she educates Doctor of Pharmacy candidates in chronic disease management both in the classroom and on clinical rotations.
Chief Nursing Officer
Susan has more than 20 years of nursing leadership experience. She most recently spent time at Emory University Midtown in the role of specialty director, critical care, cardiac and renal service lines. She has also held positions in director of inpatient services, system director and director of emergency services. She has a bachelor's degree in nursing from Georgetown University, a master's degree in nursing from University of Alabama Birmingham, and is currently working to finish her DNP from UAB as well.
Director of Quality and Risk
Naja serves as the director of quality and risk for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Henry. Throughout her nearly 20 year career, Naja, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, has demonstrated her passion for inpatient rehabilitation, working as a rehabilitation aide, physical therapist, quality coordinator and admissions liaison. Her extensive inpatient rehabilitation experience uniquely positions her to lead the charge of quality excellence from all perspectives. Naja has facilitated transitions in quality reporting, working jointly with nursing and therapy staff to experience success. She attended Georgia Southern University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, majoring in exercise science with a minor in business administration. Her advanced clinical degree was conferred from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Human Resources Director
Victoria brings 15 years of experience in human resource experience to Encompass Health. She began her HR path in 2007 with an acute care hospital system in the Ohio Valley working her way up to director level on the executive leadership team. Prior to HR, she worked as a trainer in customer service and then at the university level with planning campus activities and developing student leaders. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations from West Liberty University. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA) and Atlanta SHRM Chapter.
Director of Therapy Operations
Antonio V. Pruitt completed his undergraduate work at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and minor in biology. He spent the following two years at Auburn University Montgomery completing a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in healthcare administration and policy. In 2005, he graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Pruitt has 16 years of clinical and administrative experience in various settings including pediatrics, school systems, psych, outpatient ortho, inpatient, skilled nursing facilities, home healthcare, long term acute care (LTACH) and assisted living facilities in addition to teaching anatomy and physiology as an adjunct clinical instructor for seven years at Lawson State Community College - Birmingham, Alabama. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), American Academy of Physical Therapy (AAPT), Advisory Board Member for Atlanta Technical College Physical Therapy Assistant Program, Advisory Board Member for South College - Atlanta, Physical Therapy Assistant Program, Appointed Member of the Department of Veterans Affairs -Veterans Advisory Committee on Rehabilitation 2019-2020, American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity, Inc.
Area Controller
Donovan serves as the area controller for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Henry and Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Newnan. He brings more than 15 years of accounting and healthcare finance experience to the team. Throughout his career, he has focused on implementing industry best practices to build people, processes and systems. He has experience in medical group management, home health and hospice and critical access hospitals, as well as implementing information systems. Donovan is a thoughtful and inclusive leader who believes in building relationships while developing a clear strategy to achieve operational goals. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgia Southern University.
Facilities Management Director
Antonious brings almost 20 years of facilities management experience to Encompass Health. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Maryland Eastern Shore and has spent most of his healthcare career in long term acute care hospitals managing supportive services. He is a graduate of the Leadership Academy with Leading Age of Georgia. Antonious enjoys his downtime fishing, watching college football and spending time with his family and friends.
Business Development Director
Jessica brings more than 12 years of healthcare business development, marketing and strategic planning experience to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Henry, where she serves as business development director. She has a demonstrated history of success in progressive leadership roles within the inpatient hospital setting, including both medical/surgical and inpatient psychiatric hospitals. Jessica earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Mercer University and has been a licensed practical nurse since 2010.
