Chief Executive Officer
Paula’s passion for healthcare stems from an innate drive to help others live their best life, which she believes starts with the quality of one’s health. Beginning her career as a registered nurse for Encompass Health and then gaining critical care experience in the acute hospital setting, she never lost focus of the bigger impact she wished to make on the community. Paula went on to gain her master’s degree in healthcare law, and now uses her clinical experience and legal education to lead a highly skilled team of clinicians at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Jacksonville.
Director of Pharmacy
April received her Doctor of Pharmacy and master's degree in public health from Florida A&M University’s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Tallahassee, Florida. After graduating, she briefly worked in the community pharmacy setting before setting sights on a more clinical career path. Dr. Baucham begin her tenure at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tallahassee in 2019 until her transfer to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Jacksonville in 2022. She also serves as a preceptor for Doctor of Pharmacy candidates on clinical rotations, Dr.Baucham’s goal are to provide comprehensive, quality care to the patients she serves.
Director of Quality & Risk
Brittney serves as the director of quality and risk since the opening at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in St. Augustine in 2022. She has worked in numerous roles in healthcare including performance improvement, risk and accreditation, and she is certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. She earned her master’s degree in business administration and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
Facilities Management Director
Steve has almost 35 years of extensive healthcare and plant facilities diversified work experience. He knowledge and expertise covers all aspects of plant operations, regulatory compliance and environment of care services within a healthcare facility setting including acute care, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. He has held positions ranging from supervisor, director and regional director. Steve is an active member of several organizations which include the American Society of Healthcare Engineers, Florida Healthcare Association, American Hospital Association and Florida Healthcare Engineering Association.
Case Management Director
Prachy has almost 30 years in the healthcare industry. She has worked in various healthcare settings and is currently working on her Doctorate degree from the University of Alabama.
Controller
Tray has a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & healthcare industry. He is skilled in accounting, financial statements/reporting, management and strong finance professional experience. Tray has a bachelor's degree with a focus in accounting with a minor in finance from Western Kentucky University.
Business Development Director
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Katie started her healthcare career in nursing before transitioning to healthcare business development in 2007 in the skilled nursing industry. She has worked in multiple states across the country, specializing in developing market specific specialty programming in the post-acute care continuum. Katie has been in business development leadership for the last 15 years. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her large family, college football and reading.
Director of Therapy Operations
Tonya has more than 20 years of experience as a physical therapist. She received her master's degree in physical therapy from the University of North Florida; and is currently working toward her Doctorate in physical therapy. Tonya has advanced training in vestibular rehab and is a LANA Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
Human Resources Director
Melody has more than 25 years’ experience within the human resources field. She brings a broad range of experience to her new role, including employment, benefits, payroll, compensation and employee relations.
