Chief Executive Officer
Cody was born and raised in Greeneville, Tennessee in a healthcare family. He has over 14 years of healthcare experience, and the majority of that time was spent in process improvement and acute care facility operations. He currently lives in Gray with his family.
Human Resources Director
Ashley has served in the healthcare human resources sector for 13 years. Prior to that she served as human resources director in the oil industry for five years. She graduated from East Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in human resources management. She continued her education with a master’s degree from King University also in business management in 2009.
Business Development Director
Pam has served in the healthcare industry for over 40 years. She received her master’s degree in business administration from Milligan College. She is a licensed nursing home administrator and has been employed with Rehabilitation Hospital of Kingsport since December 2019. Pam is also a registered respiratory therapist.
Area Controller
Paul has found his passion in healthcare and has worked in healthcare operations management since 2016. He graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho with honors, earning a bachelor’s degree in business management with a concentration in finance. Paul graduated from Air Force basic military training with honors and is an Operation Freedom’s Sentinel veteran.
Director of Quality & Risk
Lisa graduated from East Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a lifelong resident of Northeast Tennessee and loves spending time with her family.
Facilities Management Director
Kevin has been with Encompass Health for three years. Kevin previously served as maintenance mechanic and maintenance manager before being promoted to his current role. His responsibilities as facilities management director include oversight of safety, security, engineering, dietary, housekeeping, waste management, emergency preparedness and life safety.
Director of Therapy Operations
Lauren is the director of therapy operations and has served as a speech-language pathologist in the public healthcare system since 2012. She has also served in leadership positions since her commission as an U.S. Army officer in 2007 with prior enlisted service since 2000.
Chief Nursing Officer
Debra has served in the healthcare industry for nearly 30 years. She received her nursing degree from Virginia Appalachian Tri-College Nursing Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Virginia Intermont and has been employed with Rehabilitation Hospital of Kingsport since 1999. Debra is also a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN®).
Director of Case Management
Ken has over 39 years of healthcare experience. He began at Rehabilitation Hospital of Kingsport in May of 2018 as director of case management. Prior to that position, he was employed at Holston Valley Medical Center for 23 years and worked in the management of a variety of departments. He holds an associate’s degree in nursing from Los Angeles Pierce College and worked as a clinical RN in emergency and radiology departments throughout his career. He earned a BSN degree in 2006 and an MBA with healthcare concentration in 2009, both from King University in Bristol.
