At Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo, we are committed to helping you regain independence after a life-changing illness or injury. Located in Largo, we serve the greater Tampa area as a leading provider of inpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology for stroke and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
Using clinical collaboration and advanced technologies, we provide a personalized care plan designed to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals.
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital uses an interdisciplinary team approach that includes physical, speech and occupational therapists, rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, dietitians and more, combined with our advanced technology and expertise, to help you achieve your goals. You will receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week while under the constant care of registered nurses, many of whom specialize in rehabilitation, and frequent independent private practice physician* visits.
Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies, as needed.

Chief Executive Officer
Molly was named chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo in May 2021. She has seven years of healthcare executive leadership and more than 30 years of nursing expertise serving as the chief nursing officer at multiple acute care hospitals within various healthcare systems. She also served in many nursing and critical care leadership roles earlier in her career. Molly earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire and her master’s degree in business administration from Capella University in Minnesota.
Dr. Kevin Creed earned his medical degree in 2004 from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He completed his internship and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation in 2008 at The University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Creed is board certified through the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Creed is an independent private practice physician.
Human Resources Director
Sheryl has been in the field of human resources management for 20 years and has been with Encompass Health since May 2022. Prior to joining our team, she worked as a senior human resources business partner for the global customer service division of Forensic Technology Inc. for nine years. She holds degrees in legal studies from Sinclair College, psychology from Kent State University, human resources management from Nova Southeastern University and international business from Johnstown University. Sheryl also has worked in fitness for 15 years with certifications as a master trainer/certified national personal trainer.
Director of Quality & Risk
Nicole has been with Encompass Health since 2016. She joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo as a registered nurse and has also previously served as the hospital educator and infection preventionist. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. She is a certified rehabilitation registered nurse and holds a certification in infection prevention and control. Nicole is a leader, committed to quality outcomes and positive patient experiences.
Business Development Director
Hayley joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo in 2021. She brings more than 10 years of experience in healthcare business development, sales and marketing. She has a passion for helping members of our community and is an advocate in assisting patients and their families in getting the care and outcomes they deserve. Hayley earned an undergraduate degree in business administration from Florida State University.
Director of Case Management
Juliet has more than two decades of experience in healthcare with a focus in case management and discharge planning. Juliet holds an associate degree in nursing from Hillsborough Community College, a bachelor’s degree in healthcare leadership from National Louis University and a master's degree in business administration from University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Case Management Society of America.
Director of Plant Operations
As the director of plant operations, Eric supports hospital frontline staff providing environmental control, equipment functionality and campus safety. Prior to joining the team at Encompass Health Rehabilitation of Largo, Eric worked for two HCA hospitals as the manager of facilities. He brings more than 25 years of electrical experience as a journeyman electrician through the IBEW and United States Navy. Eric has a degree in electrical engineering technology (EEET) and has several certifications in his area of expertise.
Director of HIMS/HIPPA Officer
Susan brings more than 30 years of health information management experience to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo. She graduated from the State University of New York at Alfred with an associate degree in health information management, she is a registered health information technician and certified in healthcare privacy and security.
Chief Nursing Officer
Patti brings almost 30 years of nursing expertise to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo. She has held various leadership positions throughout her career including executive roles in acute care hospitals in Pinellas and Sarasota counties, including VP of emergency services, associate chief nursing officer and chief nursing officer. Patti has a passion for providing high quality and safe patient care. She is skilled in nursing operations and management, emergency nursing, critical care nursing, data analytics and leadership development. Most recently, Patti worked for Largo Medical Center as the interim CNO/associate chief nursing officer. Patti completed her undergraduate studies at Memorial University in Canada and she received her master’s degree at Walden University.
Nolan joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo in 2022. Prior to his time at Encompass Health Largo, Nolan served in numerous financial roles in acute care facilities in Kentucky and Florida. Nolan earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master's degree in business administration from Morehead State University.
Director of Pharmacy
John Winiecki is the director of pharmacy for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo. He has been with Encompass Health since 2005 and has more than 20 years of experience in the hospital pharmacy setting; including inpatient rehabilitation, long-term acute care and community hospitals in the Tampa Bay area. His professional interests and specialties include the areas of pharmacy informatics, anticoagulation, diabetes and infectious disease. John earned his doctorate of pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale Florida in 1998. He also completed a PGY1 ASHP accredited pharmacy residency program at C.W. Bill Young VA HCS in 1999. John's goal are to provide comprehensive, quality care to the patients he serves.
Director of Therapy Operations
Jouni joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo in 2015, bringing a background in various hospital settings including emergency medical services and acute care to his role. He received a bachelor’s degree in medical anthropology and master’s degree in physical therapy from University of North Dakota. He later earned a clinical doctorate degree in physical therapy from A.T. Still University in 2011 and master’s in business administration from University of South Florida in 2014.
