Chief Executive Officer
With more than 15 years’ experience in healthcare management, Noomi brings a unique people and processed focused leadership style to Encompass Health. Her passion for process improvement and efficiency derives from her educational background where she obtained both her master’s degree and bachelor’s degree from the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark where she was born and raised. Noomi's healthcare experience spans a wide range from the acute care hospital setting to the pharmaceutical industry where she has served in several different leadership roles. She is a results driven leader who is passionate about understanding the reason behind everything we do and gets energized by working with her team to remove barriers in day-to-day operations.
Medical Director
Dr. Miller is the medical director of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Littleton. He received his doctorate in 2011 from the Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz. having more than six years of diverse experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital affiliated with Chicago Medical School and the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Wheaton, Ill. Dr. Miller is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation through the ABPMR. He is married with a son and a Colorado native.
Dr. Miller is an independent private practice physician.
Business Development Director
Lenore has been in sales and marketing for over 20 years and has led teams in healthcare for over a decade growing patient volume. She has a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and an executive sales leadership certification from University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois and now lives in Highlands Ranch.
Director of Therapy Operations
Sarah graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a Doctor in physical therapy degree and has a specialty board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association in neurology and is certified in neurodevelopmental treatment strategies. She has been on the Littleton team for 10 years and has a passion for patient care and helping with the clinical development of therapists. She lives in the Littleton community with her son, husband and two dogs.
Facilities Management Director
Jim brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare facilities operations, construction, emergency management and safety to Encompass Health. He has worked in adult and pediatric acute care as well as adult and child and adolescent behavioral health. Jim is a member of the Colorado Association of Healthcare Engineers and Directors as well as the American Society of Healthcare Engineers and has a passion for providing a safe, healthy and comfortable environment for patients and team members. Jim received his bachelor’s degree in environmental science and compliance from Metropolitan State College of Denver and is a Denver native.
Senior Human Resources Director
Stephanie joined the Encompass Health Littleton team in 2015. She has more than two decades of diverse, progressive and multi-state human resources experience. Stephanie serves in a senior capacity in the West region along with training leadership on management skills and functioning as a preceptor for new HR directors. She earned an undergraduate degree in human rehabilitative services with a minor in community health from the University of Northern Colorado and a master’s degree in education from Colorado State University.
Director of Quality & Risk Management
Britanie joined the Encompass Health Littleton team in 2015. She obtained her master's degree in healthcare administration from Colorado State University with a focus on project management. While pursuing her undergraduate degree in public health at the University of Colorado Denver, she worked as a research assistant in the department of health and behavioral sciences, concentrating on gerontology and building social capital. Britanie serves on the national quality leadership board for Encompass Health and as a preceptor for new directors in the West region.
Director of Pharmacy
Katie joined Encompass in 2019 and has 20 years of experience in pharmacy. She received her pharmacy doctorate in 2017 from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She is a Colorado native, born and raised in Boulder.
Controller
Brodie brings more than 20 years' experience in business administration, revenue management and accounting to Encompass Health. He is passionate about developing both people and processes and strives to make his corner of the world a better place for everyone he meets. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Regis University, with an emphasis in finance and accounting, as well as a bachelor's degree in accounting from Union College. While he is not a Colorado native, he has lived in the Denver area for most of his life.
Associate Medical Director
Dr. Brendan Polun is an associate medical director at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Littleton. He received his doctorate from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology in 2011 having over 6 years of diverse experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital affiliated with Chicago Medical School and the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Wheaton, Ill. Dr. Polun is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation through the ABPMR. He is married with a son and is originally from Baltimore, Md. Dr. Polun has a passion for healthy living with the ability to help patients gain their independence.

Chief Nursing Officer
Amy joined the Encompass Health team in August 2024. She has over 13 years of senior nursing leadership experience and has been a nurse for 28 years. Much of her professional nursing career was spent as an active-duty nurse in the Army where she specialized in perioperative nursing. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Amy obtained her master’s degree in nursing from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She also graduated with a master’s degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College. Her passion is in evidence-based nursing practice as well as educating and mentoring all nursing staff to become change agents and leaders in healthcare.
Case Management Director
Formeka joined Encompass Health in 2023 and brings a wealth of experience and qualifications. With a master's degree in social work and a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, she has amassed over 20 years of dedicated service in social services and healthcare. Her professional journey encompasses diverse roles such as foster care, medical social work, cardiac/cardiology case management and mental and behavioral health. This breadth of experience indicates her versatility and expertise across various domains within social work and healthcare. She is currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Born and raised in Georgia, Formeka's roots influenced her approach to social work, infusing it with a deep understanding of local communities and their unique challenges. Outside of work, her dedication to self-care as a hobby underscores her holistic approach to well-being, which is undoubtedly an asset in her demanding field. Formeka's extensive background and ongoing professional development make her a valuable addition to the Encompass Health team, bringing both seasoned expertise and a compassionate approach to her role.
