Kristen joined Encompass Health of Mechanicsburg in 2021 as an executive in the Encompass Health CEO development program. She began her career at Encompass Health Henderson in Nevada in 2003 as a physical therapist. She became the director of therapy operations in 2008. Kristen has held many interim roles on the Encompass Health leadership team including director of home health, director of case management, director of quality and CEO. Kristen earned a bachelor’s degree in science and a master's degree in physical therapy from Stockton University. Prior to joining the Mechanicsburg team, Kristen was on the advisory board for the University of Nevada Las Vegas Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program and adjunct faculty member at Touro University Nevada for physical and occupational therapy programs.

A board certified physiatrist, Dr. Lupinacci has served as the medical director of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg since 1993. He received his undergraduate and graduate medical training at Georgetown University and completed his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Baylor college of Medicine in Texas. Dr. Lupinacci is the founder of PRISM, Physicians of Rehabilitation, Industrial and Spine Medicine, P.C., and is a diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine.

Dr. Lupinacci is an independent private practice physician.

Erin joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg in 2013 as a staff nurse. Since then she has served in the roles of nurse supervisor and nurse manager. In addition to rehabilitation nursing, her clinical areas of expertise include med/surg, telemetry and critical care. She received her associate degree in nursing form Harrisburg Area Community College and is currently completing the BSN-MSN bridge program through Chamberlain University.  Erin is dedicated to patient safety and achieving excellence in quality outcomes.

Jessica joined Encompass Health in 2011 as a staff occupational therapist. Since then she has served as senior occupational therapist and therapy manager. She specializes in the treatment of neurological conditions, is a certified brain injury specialist, and is certified in neurological developmental treatment. She received her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Elizabethtown College.

Christy joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg in 2009 with 18 years of experience in various levels of care. She graduated from Central Pennsylvania College in 2008 with a degree in applied science/physical therapist assistant. She switched paths in 2019 to become a rehab liaison. She was then promoted to senior liaison in 2022 and business development director in 2024. Throughout her career, she has shown her passion for others and is dedicated to helping people get the care they deserve.

Ashley joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg in 2022. She brings with her 11 years of nursing leadership experience. Ashley earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in nursing and healthcare education from the University of Phoenix and is a certified wound care registered nurse. Ashley is dedicated to providing a positive patient experience and enhancing programs that contribute to advanced patient outcomes.

Maria brings more than eight years of social work and case management experience in a variety of healthcare settings. She graduated from Messiah University with a bachelor's degree in social work. She received a master’s degree in social work with a focus on management and planning from Temple University.

Jason earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002. He joined Encompass Health in 2024, bringing over 20 years of pharmacy and leadership experience. He is committed to the safe and appropriate use of medications and brings a commitment to improving medication management, patient safety and compliance. Over his career, Jason has taken pride in the extensive working relationships he has developed with providers across all levels with a single goal in mind: providing the best possible pharmaceutical care to all patients.

Jan joined Encompass Health in 2015 as the patient assessment standards coordinator. She was promoted in 2018 to the senior patient assessment standards coordinator and serves as the regional PASC for the Northeast region. Jan received her master’s degree in occupational therapy from St. Francis University in Loretto, Pa.

Denyse joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg in 2023 as the controller and brings more than 25 years of accounting, finance and leadership experience. Denyse is a graduate of Carlow University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and recently obtained her master’s degree in business with a concentration in accounting from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Jennifer serves as the human resources director and brings more than 17 years of experience in human resource management with the last six years being in healthcare human resources including both long-term acute care hospitals and inpatient rehabilitation facilities. She received her bachelor’s degree in labor and employment relations from The Pennsylvania State University. She is an active board member of the Appalachian Healthcare Human Resource Society.

Ray joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg in December 2009 bringing with him 16 years of management experience and a diversified background of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, construction and digital logic control experience. In addition, he oversees the environmental services department and serves as the hospital’s safety officer.
