Britni joined the MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital team as chief executive officer in December 2024. Prior to her current role, she served as the associate administrator at West Tennessee Healthcare Rehabilitation Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee. With over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, operations and leadership, Britni brings fresh perspectives and a wealth of knowledge to Encompass Health. She is deeply committed to fostering the professional development of her healthcare team and consistently advocates for her patients and their families to ensure they receive high-quality care and an exceptional experience. Britni earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, a master’s in business administration from the University of Memphis, and a bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology from Arkansas Tech University. Additionally, she holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Oregon State University.

Dr. Cielo Navato-Dehning graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed residency training at the University of Kansas Medical Center in physical medicine and rehabilitation in 1995 with the distinction of chief resident. She is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and spinal cord injury medicine.

Dr. Navato-Dehning is an independent private practice physician.

Misty joined the MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital team in May 2023. She has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, with 14 of those in clinical leadership. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Pittsburg State University and graduated from University of Maryland in 2023 with a master's degree in nursing leadership and management. Misty is also CRRN certified.

Bryan joined MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital in March 2021. He has more than eight years of experience in healthcare accounting and finance. Bryan received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Sara joined the MidAmerica team in 2004 as a speech language pathologist. She was the speech therapy team lead up until 2013 when she transitioned to the leadership team as the director of case management. Sara graduated with her master’s degree from the University of Kansas and has more than 10 years of healthcare experience.

Paul is the director of therapy operations and has been with Mid America Rehabilitation Hospital for more than 11 years. Paul has worked in healthcare for almost 20 years, the past 12 as an occupational therapist. He has a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Kansas State University and achieved a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Rockhurst University.

Kim joined MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital in 2021. She has 30 years of human resource management experience, which includes 20 years of leadership roles in both retail and healthcare environments. She attended Southwestern College, majoring in human resources management.

Jenn joined MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital in August 2022 as the business development director. Jenn graduated from the University of Missouri Columbia with her master’s degree in health science and practiced as a speech-language pathologist until transitioning into business development in 2010.

Beau joined MidAmerica Rehabilitation Hospital in August 2022. He has been a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality since 2018. Beau earned his master’s degree in healthcare administration from Park University in 2015.

Crystal joined the MidAmerica team in 2009 as a staff pharmacist. She was part of the clinical pharmacy team and transitioned to director of pharmacy role in 2015. Crystal graduated from the University of Saint Mary with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Then, she earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and has ten years of experience in the pharmacy industry including retail and hospital settings.
