Sukhraj joined Encompass Health in 2022 as the controller. He graduated from CSU Stanislaus with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and master's degree in business administration. Prior to joining Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Modesto, Sukhraj worked in the food and beverage industry holding various roles for 13 years.

Dr. Vance Roget was named medical director at Encompass Health Modesto in September 2019. He comes to Encompass Health Modesto with more than 30 years’ experience in a variety of settings. Dr. Roget is an independent practice physician who is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. After earning his medical degree from The Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1981, he completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. His undergraduate education was completed in biology at California State University-Chico. His areas of interest include working with patients overcoming strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, peripheral nerve injuries, and burns.

Dr. Roget is an independent private practice physician.

Lisa has been employed at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Modesto since January 2017. She leads business development efforts and manages a team of nurse liaisons who assess patients for possible admission. In her role, she takes care of all hospital marketing, advertising, media requests, outreach and sponsorships, and brings more than 20 years of experience as an LVN working as a float pool nurse at Emanuel Medical Center, a supervisor for a cardiologist office and worked as the quality assurance manager for Golden Valley Health Centers 27 clinics.

Cesar is certified as a Healthcare Facilities Manager and holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He has more than 20 years’ experience working in healthcare engineering-facility management. Cesar is a member of the California Society for Healthcare Engineering as well as a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers. He joined Encompass Health in 2022 as the facilities management director as well as hospital safety officer.

Quynh brings more than 18 years of human resources experience to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Modesto. She has experience in both the non-profit and profit sectors. Quynh earned her bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in human resources from Briar Cliff University, Sioux City, IA. Quynh enjoys building relationships and engaging with hospital team members.

Sandra has been a dedicated member of the Encompass Health team since 2017, beginning as a case manager and now serving as the director of case management. As a certified case manager (CCM) and licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), Sandra brings expertise in coordinating complex care plans and ensuring seamless transitions across the continuum of care. Passionate about improving healthcare outcomes, Sandra is committed to leading the case management team in delivering the highest quality care and ensuring patients receive the support they need throughout their healthcare journey.

Alfredo is a certified public accountant and holds a master’s degree in business administration from California State University, Stanislaus. Prior to joining Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Modesto in 2024, Alfredo worked in public accounting with a focus on the agriculture industry for six years.

Denise has been employed at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Modesto since its opening September 2016. She has lived in Modesto for more than 25 years and has a passion to see people receive state-of-the-art health care services in the community. Denise holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach and brings experience working at various heath care settings to the team. Denise enjoys motivating therapists and patients alike to strive to meet to goals.

Nicole was born and raised here in the Central Valley. She joined Encompass Health Modesto in 2017 as a nurse with 20 years' experience in the medical field. In 2018, she was promoted to the role of relief nurse supervisor. Before becoming the chief nursing officer, Nicole joined the hospital's leadership team in March 2019 as the director of quality and risk management, overseeing patient-focused outcomes and patient safety. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) and a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS).

Danny joined Encompass Health in 2022 as a registered nurse, bringing a passion for patient care and clinical excellence. A graduate of Modesto Junior College in 2021, Danny quickly advanced to the role of nurse supervisor, where his dedication to fostering teamwork and providing exceptional patient care became evident. As the director of quality and risk management, Danny draws on his clinical expertise and leadership experience to ensure the highest standards of care and safety for patients and their families. His commitment to meaningful patient and family interactions drives his work as he strives to create positive outcomes and a supportive environment for all.
