Dr. Hennigan is a highly experienced, board-certified physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He has extensive experience treating patients with stroke, brain injury and trauma, orthopedic and neurologic conditions. Dr. Hennigan served on the Encompass Health physician advisory board and he has received numerous awards and recognitions including highest physician satisfaction award for all of Encompass Health’s hospitals, presidential award for medical director of top 10 hospital, patient satisfaction award, medical leadership and clinical excellence award, outstanding clinical performance, outstanding patient satisfaction award and he was named Encompass Health regional medical director of the year for 2021. He is a graduate of Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts and Rutgers Medical School. His internship year was completed at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey and he completed his medical training and residency at the University of Medicine of New Jersey/the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation.

Elizabeth joined Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of Panama City in May 2023 as human resources director. She brings more than 25 years of experience to her role in the areas of employee relations, compliance, staffing and onboarding, recruitment, benefit administration, policy updates and training. Elizabeth earned her bachelor’s degree in business management, with a minor in Spanish, from Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts.

Holly joined the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Panama City team in 2021 and she became the director of pharmacy in 2022. After receiving her pharmacy degree from the University of Florida, Holly began her career as a staff pharmacist at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City. She is a native of Panama City.

Kris recently served as the associate chief nursing officer at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital. Before joining Gulf Coast, Kris served as the director of critical care services at HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee. Kris has many years of experience in healthcare across multiple specialties and is known for his ability to be innovative and overcome difficulties during challenging times. He has a dual master's degree in nursing and healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix, focusing on sustainability management, where he graduated cum laude. He earned his bachelor's degree in nursing from Jacksonville State University and his associate degree in nursing from Wallace Community College.

Anna joined Encompass Health in September 2023 as the director of case management. After completing a bachelor's degree in social science from Florida State University in 2013, Anna earned her nursing degree from Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Florida in 2016. She brings a combination of more than seven years of experience in nursing management, cardiac acute care and hospice care to our team.

Andriena joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Panama City as the business development director in December 2021. She has more than 10 years of experience in marketing and sales, and has spent the majority of that time working in a variety of healthcare settings including acute care, long-term acute care and rehabilitation hospitals. Andriena graduated from New Mexico State University with her bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2010.

Alison joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Panama City in November 2023 as the director of therapy operations. She brings 33 years of experience as a physical therapist/manager to her role. Alison earned her doctorate in physical therapy from The College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. Before joining Encompass Health, she served as therapy manager at Glancy Rehabilitation Center in Duluth, Georgia. Alison is a native Floridian from Marianna, Florida.

Brad joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Panama City as hospital controller in 2012. He began his career in 2003 as an auditor for a regional accounting firm, providing accounting services to hospitals throughout the southeast. Brad graduated from Mississippi State University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in finance and in 2001 with a master’s degree in business administration. He graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2022 with a doctoral degree in health administration. He is a certified public accountant licensed in Mississippi and Florida.

Jennifer has been with Encompass Health since March 2003 and became the director of quality and risk management in 2023. She trained as an LPN at Haney Vocational School and graduated summa cum laude from Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in healthcare administration. In addition to her role at Encompass Health, Jennifer serves on the Florida Board of Nurses, holding an LPN seat.
